Dr. Brooke Skelton has been teaching introductory astronomy and introductory physics courses at Perimeter College, the associate-degree granting arm of Georgia State University, since 2000. She received her Ph.D. in 1999 from the University of Washington. Though she studied how newly formed star clusters impacted the gaseous nebulae in which they were born, she has always had a soft spot for solar system astronomy and loves teaching those courses best. Dr. C. Bayard Stringer is an associate professor of physics and astronomy at Perimeter College, a two-year community college within Georgia State University. He received his PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill in 2011. Originally trained as a stellar spectroscopist, he spends more time developing curriculum these days. He enjoys gardening in his spare time.
