Description: This space sphere will be the centerpiece of any meteorite collection. This is a true space relic of an era when the Soviet Union was very active in early space research projects. It can also be described as a "man made meteorite" since it fell back to earth much like a meteorite and shows many of the same characteristics of an oriented meteorite.
The tank also preserves many craters on its surface which are the result of Micrometeorid impacts.
