Mars 2003

As promised here is our best image of Mars taken August 24, 2003. It's absolutely amazing what can be done with a 6 inch telescope, an inexpensive Philips ToUcam Pro webcam, and image processing software. (Although it took approximately 40 hours to achieve the above image). If you look closely you can see some of the Tharsis Volcanoes. Pavonis Mons is clearly visible.
