Meteorites fall randomly over the surface of the Earth. Since they are named for the locations they are found, none of us will speak all the languages involved. This is an ongoing project to gather sound bites of the names of meteorites as pronounced by the native speakers for the enlightenment of those from other places.

As the months pass names will be added and more countries will hopefully be represented in the listing.

We are pleased and fortunate to have Sara Hart as a research associate gathering this data for Meteorite Times. In the course of her profession she meets and works with individuals from all over our planet. We also want to take this opportunity to thank all those that have shared some of their culture and experience with us by giving time to have their voices recorded by Sara.
